Specialist Delivery, On Us

We offer complimentary, specialist delivery across most of mainland England and Wales on all olive tree orders. Each delivery is carefully arranged to ensure your tree arrives in excellent condition, whether it’s a single statement piece or a full grove.

You can typically expect delivery within 14 to 21 working days, though timelines may vary depending on tree size, quantity, and your location—so we kindly ask that you allow up to 30 days.

Trees under 2 meters in height are delivered via the pallet network, curbside. Those over 2 meters and in pots under 120L are delivered using our private van service for more direct and careful handling. Mature or heavier trees may be delivered via lorry; in these cases, we ask that access details are provided at checkout or by email shortly after placing your order to ensure smooth delivery.

Please note that we recommend not booking any gardeners or contractors until your tree has been delivered and received.

Some remote regions, including the northernmost and southernmost parts of England and the westernmost areas of Wales, may fall outside our standard delivery routes—if this applies to you, we’re happy to provide a custom quote.

For full information, please view our delivery policy. T&Cs apply.

Natural Variation & Availability

We take great pride in offering hand-selected olive trees, each one chosen for its unique form, character, and story. These are living, evolving trees—shaped by nature, time, and the environment in which they’ve grown. As such, natural variation is not only expected, but embraced.

No two trees will ever be exactly alike, and we believe that’s part of their lasting charm. While the images shown are a close representation of the style and size you can expect, factors such as seasonality, maturity, and growing conditions may affect the tree’s appearance, foliage density, or shape at the time of delivery. Minor differences in height or spread are entirely normal.

Once your order is placed, we begin sourcing your tree from one of our trusted partner nurseries—most often in Tuscany. For mature olive trees, you may request a pre-shipment inspection photo, which we’ll send once the most suitable tree has been selected. Please note that inspection photos are only available for mature trees and not for younger or bulk-order trees, where reviewing each individual specimen isn't feasible.

For trees delivered with pots, variations in pot material may occur depending on the size of the tree's root system.

Compact in height, colossal in character — this Quarter Standard Ancient Olive Tree [Olea europaea] is a one-of-a-kind piece of living history. With an incredible 70–80 years of age and a 50–60cm girth, this tree combines heritage, structure, and Mediterranean soul in a form that suits even smaller garden spaces.

Its short 40–60cm clear trunk makes it ideal for low-level planting schemes, but don’t let its height fool you — the thick, weathered trunk and beautifully aged bark instantly command attention. Topped with a soft, silvery canopy of evergreen foliage, this tree brings age and elegance in equal measure.

Sourced from ancient olive groves in Southern Europe and pot-grown for adaptability and long-term health, this specimen is perfect for statement container planting, courtyard design, or use as a sculptural focal point in modern landscaping.

It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil and is hardy in most UK climates with some shelter in colder regions. Minimal maintenance is needed to keep this tree thriving — just sunlight, good drainage, and a little admiration.

If you're looking for a bold, ancient olive tree that fits seamlessly into smaller spaces, this one delivers all the drama in a compact package.
